Safety reports reveal that in the majority of incidents involving a fall from a ladder, the fall was as a result of the ladder SLIPPING due to the user over-reaching. This is where the “LADDER MATE” design comes to the fore in increasing ladder safety.
The support bar increases the effective width of any ladder to over 800mm at roof level, and with large rubber stop grips fitted to both ends of the support bar, slippage on any roofing, guttering, fascia or overhangs is ELIMINATED.
The large stand-off brackets also work to effectively prevent damage to gutters, roofing iron & tiles, cladding and fascias. By providing a strong and secure position for exit and entry onto the roof, ladder safety is further improved.
The “LADDER MATE” is suitable for both commercial and domestic users and will provide improved ladder safety and confidence when working at height.
The “LADDER MATE” ladder safety device is constructed from quality lightweight cast and extruded aluminium sections. With a total weight of only 2.6kg it is easy and quick to install and use and is fully backed by a comprehensive 12 months manufacturer’s warranty (conditions apply).
The “LADDER MATE” has been independently tested by Test Safe Australia in a normal use simulation and has exceeded the minimum loading requirement applicable to industrial rated ladders.
