• Jig is manufactured from the highest grade stainless and aluminium materials and machined to precision tolerances to give you a long lasting superior tool.
• The mortise will always be in the centre of the door due to the unique self centreing spindle housing design.
• Mortising dimensions-8" long x 4" deep (200mmx100mm) (Note: Cutter Diameter determines the width of the mortise)
• Standard spindle shaft accepts a 1/4" (6.35mm) diameter shank cutter

• Powering your mortise jig can be done with one of two ways. You may use a power drill (must be set on the high speed gear) or you may use a router.
• The mortise lock cutting jig was designed with the user in mind requiring no acual maintenance. The main spindle bearings are a sealed type and have been pregreased and never require service for the life of the bearings.

This Mortising Bit is the ideal bit to use in the Mortising Jig.
