I never used a nailer until I used this one. It was recommended by a contractor friend of mine. He was so on the money. Once I had my mouldings cut, It was time to fix them in place. The paslode was easy to load and setup. I was able to put my mouldings up in no time. It always fired and the 2.5 inch nails I was using went into the studs without a hitch. It was so convenient not having to drag a hose and compressor everywhere especially since I was up on a ladder. I used it all around the house and it never jammed. It's definitely on my xmas list this year and I definitely reccommend it to everyone I know. The only thing I recommend to get in addition is a set of cheap ear plugs if you are using it indoors and doing crown moulding as your ears are fairly close to the tool and its quite loud.

The unit performed perfectly out of the box and I just love the thing. We have several rental units and between them and our own house, there is something that needs to be repaired or built. For example, the other day I needed to repair a pocket door at one of the rentals. This involves taking off all of the trim and casing in order to remove the door. I used care when removing the trim so that I could put it back exactly as it came off. As a matter of fact, I pulled the nails from the inside of the trim so as not to mare the good surface. This whole project took the better part of a half day. When it came time to install the repaired door and replace all of the trim and casing, I grabbed the nail gun and reinstalled everything. The fact that I did not have to bother with a compressor and everything required for the nail gun is in the case, I have a tendency to have it with me. Setup is quick and therefore one tends to use it even for small jobs. I use to hate to nail trim but now putting up trim is effortless. The nail gun sets the nails accurately and the holes are small making filling them effortless. I would recommend this nail gun to anyone. I don't know how well it will hold up to a production environment but it is perfect for small tasks
