Delivery

Norwest Tool Centre offers FAST delivery Australia wide.

We utilise a combination of in-house, courier & Australia Post delivery services to ensure the fastest and safest delivery possible for your order. Norwest Tool Centre reserve the right on how goods are sent.

Delivery cost calculation or Choosing to pickup from our store

When you go to our Checkout you have the option of picking up your goods from our store free of delivery charges, or having us arrange delivery. 

If we are arranging delivery our web site automatically calculates delivery charges based upon the delivery address, weight, and size of the goods.  The delivery charge is shown at the Checkout.  To complete your purchase just select your payment method.  Its that easy! 

Delivery of very large items

If the total weight of the goods exceeds 20 kilograms, or is greater than 1.4 metres, then we cannot automatically calculate a delivery charge. In that case a message will be displayed informing you that you must contact us for a delivery quote. You may also call us at our store during business hours on +61 2 9680 8200 if you would like an immediate quote. 

To pay for the delivery of large items we have a product called Delivery Units. Delivery Units are simply $1 units that can be purchased up to any quantity to cover your delivery cost. We will quote you the required amount of Delivery Units.  You add the required quantity of Delivery Units to your Shopping Cart.

At this point you have three choices:

1. you may continue and complete the payment for your purchase, in which case you will need to purchase Delivery Units in a separate order after you receive our delivery quote.  The goods will be despatched when both the product and the delivery payments are received;

2. leave your order on the screen and phone us for an immediate delivery quote (only during business hours). Once we have given you a quote you can then purchase the required amount of Delivery Units then continue with your payment at the Checkout;

3. cancel your order and await a delivery quote. When you receive our delivery quote you can reenter your order and add the required number of Delivery Units to your Shopping Cart, then complete the payment for your purchase.

International Delivery

Norwest Tool Centre offers international delivery. This works exactly the same as above.

Courier Deliveries

Courier deliveries will only be made to street addresses with boundaries defined and recognised by town/city councils. 

It is the receiver's responsibility to be in attendance at the delivery address.  If no one is in attendance at the time of delivery the goods will be left at the receiver's risk.

If you know that you will not be at the delivery address and want to reschedule the delivery day then please contact us with your instructions and we will make the necessary arrangements. 

Please Note

On exception if the freight fee will not cover our costs Norwest Tool Centre have the right of contacting the customer before sending out any goods and letting the customer know there will be a further charge for freight.
