Panasonic ‘Revolithium’ Lithium Ion Cordless Power Tools

 
Panasonic has announced a new range of power tools – the ‘Revolithium’ series. Incorporating a next generation Li-ion battery, the new range is ideal for tradespeople and technicians, offering long-life operation and a more powerful performance in a compact body.

Steven Pauling, Product Manager, Power Tools, Panasonic says, “Revolithium technology means our latest power tools ‘work hard and stay cool’.

“This next generation lithium ion battery has a high electrical efficiency with low temperature output to prevent overheating.”

‘Revolithium’ power tool models incorporate original Panasonic technologies which give the tools exceptional safety and reliability.

Battery cells are individually monitored to ensure optimal discharge control. If the battery voltage falls too low, or if the battery is about to become too hot during heavy duty use, a sensor system cuts off power and flashes a warning lamp on the control panel.

All models come with an extra battery pack as standard equipment, a charger that accepts any current Panasonic model battery, and a carrying case for additional storage and the extra battery.

The Panasonic ‘Revolithium’ Impact Driver has a brushless motor with microcomputer control to maximise the motor’s lifespan, protect against overheating and reduce the amount of electricity used compared to previous Panasonic models. In addition, the life of the switch has been prolonged with an electronic switch that requires a lower electrical current, to minimise wear and tear.

Improvement in motor performance efficiency means that the temperature of the main unit remains constant even during heavy construction work. Long periods of work can be handled comfortably and with less user fatigue.

14.4V EY7440LN2S ‘Revolithium’ Cordless Drill and Driver

The 14.4V EY7440LN2S has a new high capacity 3Ah lithium-ion battery, which incorporates Panasonic original technology to reduce overheating, even during heavy-duty use, and extend the service life of the unit.

The new Li-ion battery ensures that the overall unit is lighter and more compact for comfortable, easy use, at only 191mm in length and 1.6kg.

3.6V EY7410LA2S ‘Revolithium’ Cordless Drill and Driver

The new 3.6V Drill and Driver (EY7410LA2S) is compact and easy to use for a range of applications, including assembling and repairing small electrical products, installation of control units such as air-conditioning outlets, and the maintenance of equipment such as photocopiers and computers. It weighs a light 500g including battery and measures 276mm (L) x 134mm (H) x 46mm (W).

The EY7410LA2S has an auto shut-off clutch and quick 30 minute full charging system, ensuring that you are never without your power tool for an extended period of time. This model has variable speed control, including reverse and a 21 stage clutch.
